Maximize Your Budget with the Textbook Advance Program at Pioneer Bookshop
Understanding the costs at the start of a new semester, Pioneer Bookshop offers a helpful Textbook Advance program. As a Grinnell College student, you are eligible for a $300.00 advance specifically for textbook purchases. Best of all, this advance is INTEREST FREE! To utilize this benefit, simply use it for your textbook purchases before the add/drop deadline. The amount you use will be conveniently added to your tuition bill for payment in the following term. When completing your online order, select “Textbook Advance” at checkout to apply this benefit. Please note that the Textbook Advance is exclusively for textbooks; if you include other items like apparel, you’ll need to use a separate payment method for those.

To accommodate your arrival for the Spring Semester, Pioneer Bookshop will have extended hours during opening weekend:
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday (MLK Day): 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
