In-Person Pioneer Quest Dates: Choose Your Adventure
We are thrilled to offer Pioneer Quest on two distinct dates to accommodate your schedule. Each event provides the same valuable information and engaging experiences, allowing you to select the date that works best for you.
June 14, 2024: Explore Your Potential
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Kick off your Pioneer Quest experience on June 14th with a comprehensive program designed to introduce you to key aspects of student life and academic resources.
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Sign-In and Welcome. Begin your day at the Football Stadium, where check-in will be streamlined with QR codes for a quick and easy start. Enjoy a warm welcome and grab a plate of food as you prepare for an insightful day. Parking is conveniently located behind Katherine Hall.
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Academic Advising Form Sessions. Dive into your academic future with dedicated sessions tailored to your chosen college. You will be guided by experienced advisors:
- Group 1 (Jaileen): College of Business
- Group 2 (Abby): College of STEM
- Group 3 (Josh): College of Civic and Liberal Arts
- Group 4 (Ariel): College of Education
- 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Campus Tour (Groups 1 & 2). Explore our beautiful campus and discover key locations that will be central to your student journey. Your tour will include:
- Meen Center: Learn about our comprehensive Tutoring Center.
- Annie Hogan Byrd: Meet Steve Schultz and discover what this building offers.
- Library: Explore resources with Kathy Hipps & Mike Verna at the heart of academic support.
- Niswonger: Discover opportunities within Niswonger with Nick Davidson.
- 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Arena Session (Groups 1, 2, 3 & 4). Get essential information about Financial Aid and the Business Office, conveniently located in the Perk, to help you navigate the practical aspects of university life.
- 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Arena Session (Groups 3 & 4). Groups 3 and 4 will attend the Arena session first, focusing on Financial Aid and the Business Office in the Perk.
- 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Campus Tour (Groups 3 & 4). Following the Arena session, Groups 3 and 4 will embark on the campus tour, visiting the same key locations as Groups 1 & 2.
July 26, 2024: Secure Your Future
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Join us on July 26th for an afternoon and evening Pioneer Quest session, offering the same insightful program with a slightly adjusted schedule to fit an afternoon timeframe.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Sign-In and Welcome. Check-in at the Football Stadium (QR codes ready!) and enjoy a welcome from President Hummel. Food will be available as you arrive. Parking is available behind Katherine Hall.
- 4:20 p.m. – 5:50 p.m.: Time with the Colleges. Engage with representatives from your college of interest in dedicated sessions:
- Group 1 (Jaileen): College of Business
- Group 2 (Abby): College of STEM
- Group 3 (Josh): College of Civic and Liberal Arts
- Group 4 (Ariel): College of Education
- Group 4B (Paul): Sport Science
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Campus Tour (Groups 1 & 2). Explore our campus highlights:

- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Arena Session (Groups 3, 4 & 4B). Groups 3, 4 and 4B will attend the Arena session first to discuss Financial Aid and Business Office matters.
- 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Campus Tour (Groups 3, 4 & 4B). Following the Arena session, Groups 3, 4 and 4B will take part in the campus tour, visiting the same key locations as Groups 1 & 2.
