Application Preference
While Pioneer Charter School of Science welcomes all Massachusetts students, preference in the lottery system is given to students residing in specific neighboring communities for each campus. For PCSS I in Everett, preference is given to students from Chelsea, Everett, and Revere. For PCSS II in Saugus/Beverly, preference is given to students from Danvers, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, and Saugus. This preference ensures that PCSS serves its local communities while maintaining its commitment to students from across the state.
Important Dates: Application Deadline and Lottery
Be sure to mark your calendars! The application deadline for Pioneer Charter School of Science is March 2, 2025. All applications must be submitted by this date to be considered for the upcoming academic year. Following the application deadline, the admission lottery will be conducted on March 7th at 12 pm. This lottery determines student enrollment for the available spots at PCSS.
