Pioneer Park RV Rules and Regulations for a Smooth Visit

Welcome to Pioneer Park, a beautiful county-operated park. To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all visitors, we ask that all RV campers familiarize themselves with the following park rules and regulations. These guidelines are in place to maintain the park’s natural beauty and provide a harmonious environment for everyone to enjoy. Remember to display your current park tag clearly on your RV unit upon arrival.

General Park Guidelines for All Visitors

Pioneer Park operates on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning no reservations are accepted. Please ensure you camp only in designated sites to protect the natural landscape. To keep the park tidy and accessible, each campsite permits one camping unit and one vehicle. We kindly request that you respect the park’s greenery by not attaching ropes or wires to trees or buildings. Keep your campsite neat by using a doormat no larger than 3’x 4’. Proper waste disposal is essential; therefore, all trash must be placed in the provided garbage cans or dumpsters. To maintain the park’s aesthetic appeal, please do not place boards, pallets, blocks, or similar items on the grass, and ensure all items outside your RV are arranged neatly. Campfires are permitted, but please exercise caution and be mindful of fire safety. Upon departure, kindly ensure your campsite is left clean and neat for the next visitors. Swimming is prohibited in all park waters for safety reasons. Fishing is permitted from the banks of Pioneer Lake, Rock Lake, and Peace River, while boats are allowed only on Peace River, with a boat ramp available for your convenience.

Specific RV Camping Regulations

For RV campers, a dump station is conveniently located at the west end of the park. It is crucial to protect the environment, so no water is allowed to be dumped on the ground. Specifically, washing vehicles, trailers, or motor homes within the park is prohibited to conserve water and prevent ground contamination.

Family and Pet Policies

Restrooms with showers are available for registered campers. Non-campers may use the showers for a fee of $2.00, payable at the Park Office. Children are always welcome, but parents or guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and conduct at all times. Pets are also welcome at Pioneer Park, with a limit of two pets per campsite. For the safety and comfort of all visitors and wildlife, pets must be kept on a leash (not exceeding ten feet) at all times and are not allowed inside park buildings or near the Wildlife Refuge area. Please do not leave pets unattended, and be aware that pet disturbances will not be tolerated. Crucially, pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste.

By adhering to these rules, you contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone at Pioneer Park. Thank you for your cooperation and have a wonderful visit!
