This powerful symbol of national pride, a 150- by 78-foot American flag, nicknamed ‘The Major’, was presented by Follow the Flag, a non-profit organization committed to honoring heroes. “The Major” flag holds special significance as it is dedicated to the memory of Utah National Guard Major Brent Taylor, who tragically lost his life in Afghanistan in November 2018. The unfurling of this immense flag served as a poignant tribute to Major Taylor’s sacrifice and the dedication of all service members.
