Both offices also have 24-hour drive-up depositories available for check payments only. Please note that returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.

Important Note for Depositories: The drive-in and walk-up depositories are exclusively for CHECKS ONLY. Cash and other forms of payment are not accepted at the depositories.

Pioneer Electric offers a Budget Billing program to help you manage your monthly expenses more predictably. Budget Billing is a monthly payment plan designed to even out the seasonal fluctuations in your electric bills, particularly those related to heating and cooling costs.

How Budget Billing Works:

  • 12-Month Average: Your budget payment is calculated based on a 12-month average of your energy consumption.
  • Payment Recalculations: Your budget payment is reviewed and recalculated twice a year, in February and August, to ensure it aligns with your actual energy usage and to minimize any large settle-up payments.
  • Credit Balance Accumulation: The program is designed to allow you to build up a credit balance during lower energy usage months (spring and fall), which helps offset higher bills during peak seasons (summer and winter).
  • Home Upgrade Adjustments: If you make energy-efficient upgrades to your home, your budget billing amount can be adjusted to reflect your reduced energy consumption.
