As a contract traveling therapist, she gained exposure to different orthopedic surgeon groups and treatment methodologies across the country. Notably, she served as a Civilian outpatient orthopedic PT for the US Army at Fort Lewis, WA, where she managed acute and post-operative conditions for active-duty soldiers, highlighting her ability to handle demanding physical rehabilitation in a high-performance environment.
Her 12-year tenure in Atlanta, GA, further enriched her professional profile. Working in a clinic associated with the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks team orthopedic physicians provided her with insights into the specific needs of elite athletes. Furthermore, her role as an orthopedic manager for a major orthopedic group in Metro Atlanta involved close collaboration with leading orthopedic surgeons and physicians, honing her leadership and collaborative skills within a complex medical setting.

Outside of her professional life, Cara enjoys traveling, staying active through workouts and outdoor pursuits, and following football.
