At Pioneer Jr High, we are dedicated to fostering academic, social, and emotional growth in every student. Located within the Wenatchee School District, our mission is to ensure all students achieve success by creating a supportive and challenging learning environment. We believe in the power of dreams, the importance of belief, and the necessity of achievement for each member of our community.
About Pioneer Jr High
Our vision at Pioneer Jr High is to cultivate a collaborative and growth-oriented community. We strive to provide equitable access to rigorous, grade-level content through engaging instruction, all within a nurturing social and emotional environment. We are committed to helping each student reach their full potential and prepare for future success. This commitment is underpinned by important district initiatives such as the Educational Programs & Operations Levy, which bridges the funding gap between state resources and the actual costs of operating our schools. Wenatchee School District encourages informed participation in the upcoming special election on February 11, 2025, to replace the current levy, ensuring continued support for vital educational programs.
To enhance communication between school and home, Pioneer Jr High utilizes ParentSquare. This platform offers a simple and secure way for parents, students, and educators to connect, ensuring everyone stays informed and engaged in the educational journey. We encourage all parents and students to join ParentSquare to stay updated on school news, announcements, and important information.
Pioneer Jr High is also focused on developing “Big 6” future-ready student outcomes over the next five years. Wenatchee School District is committed to supporting students in achieving these learning outcomes, empowering them to graduate ready for vocational training, college, or a fulfilling career. We believe in preparing our students not just for academic success, but for life-long success in a rapidly evolving world.
