North Concourse to Steeles Avenue West North Side Entrance
To reach Steeles Avenue West North Side Entrance from the North Concourse during an elevator outage, please take the elevator to Line 1 Subway level. Proceed to the south end of the platform and utilize the elevator to the upper concourse. From there, take another elevator to the bus platform and street level. Exit the station and travel west on Howard Moscoe Way, then north on Northwest Gate to reach Steeles Avenue (approximately 450 meters).
Steeles Avenue West North Side Entrance to North Concourse
When traveling from Steeles Avenue West North Side Entrance to the North Concourse and an elevator is unavailable, travel south on Northwest Gate and east on Howard Moscoe Way. This will lead you to the station entrance at the far end of the bus platform (approximately 450 meters).
North Concourse to Line 1 Centre Platform
To access the Line 1 Centre Platform from the North Concourse when elevators are not functioning, exit to street level. Then, travel south on Northwest Gate and east on Howard Moscoe Way to the station entrance located at the far end of the bus platform (approximately 450 meters).
Line 1 Centre Platform to North Concourse
If you are on the Line 1 Centre Platform and need to reach the North Concourse with an elevator out of service, take the elevator at the south end of the platform to the upper concourse. From there, use the elevator to the bus platform and street level. Exit the station, travel west on Howard Moscoe Way, and then north on Northwest Gate to Steeles Avenue (approximately 450 meters).
Lower South Concourse Accessibility
For access between the Lower South Concourse and Line 1 Centre Platform or Upper South Concourse, please use the Assistance Intercom. Inform the Customer Service Agent of your need for assistance to access trains or exit Pioneer STN.
Line 1 Centre Platform to Upper South Concourse
To get from the Line 1 Centre Platform to the Upper South Concourse when an elevator is not working, take the elevator at the north end of the platform to the north concourse, and then another elevator to street level. At street level, proceed south on Northwest Gate and east on Howard Moscoe Way to the bus platform (approximately 450 meters).
Upper South Concourse to Line 1 Centre Platform
When traveling from the Upper South Concourse to the Line 1 Centre Platform during an elevator disruption, take the elevator to the bus platform and street level. Exit the station and travel west on Howard Moscoe Way and north on Northwest Gate to the Steeles Avenue north side entrance (approximately 450 meters). Use the elevators there to access Line 1.
Bus Platform to Upper South Concourse
To reach the Upper South Concourse from the Bus Platform when elevators are down, exit the station and proceed west on Howard Moscoe Way and north on Northwest Gate to the Steeles Avenue north side entrance (approximately 450 meters). Take the elevators available at that entrance to access Line 1 and then the Upper South Concourse.
Upper South Concourse to Bus Platform
If you need to go from the Upper South Concourse to the Bus Platform and an elevator is out of service, return to Line 1. Take the elevator at the north end of the platform to the north concourse, and then an elevator to street level. At street level, proceed south on Northwest Gate and east on Howard Moscoe Way to the bus platform (approximately 450 meters).
