This End User License Agreement (“License”) is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and Pioneer Corporation regarding the use of software in connection with your Pioneer Dmh-130bt multimedia receiver. By installing or using the software, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read this License carefully before proceeding.
By clicking “Accept” or installing/using the software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this License. If you are not of legal age to agree to these terms in your location, your parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. Pioneer does not intend for the software to be used by children under 16.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not click “Accept” and do not install or use the software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT.
1. Definitions
1.1 “Documentation” refers to any written help content provided by Pioneer to assist in using the Software with your Pioneer DMH-130BT.
1.2 “Software” means the firmware update provided by Pioneer specifically for use with your Pioneer DMH-130BT product. This ensures optimal performance and compatibility for your Pioneer DMH-130BT receiver.
1.3 “Product” refers to the Pioneer multimedia receiver model, specifically the Pioneer DMH-130BT, for which this Software license is granted.
1.4 “Licensor” means any third party who licenses intellectual property rights related to content within the Software used by your Pioneer DMH-130BT.
2. Limited License for Pioneer DMH-130BT Software
2.1 Authorized Use: Pioneer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use the Software solely with your Pioneer DMH-130BT Product. This license is specifically for your personal use with your Pioneer DMH-130BT car stereo system.
2.2 Restrictions: You are prohibited from copying, distributing, transferring, sublicensing, renting, leasing, lending, selling, or allowing any third party to use the Software outside of the terms of this License for your Pioneer DMH-130BT. Modification, reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly of the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT is also prohibited, except as permitted by applicable law, and only after written notice to Pioneer.

You may not export or re-export the Software or Documentation for your Pioneer DMH-130BT except as authorized by United States law and the laws of your jurisdiction. By using the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, you warrant that you are not located in any U.S.-embargoed countries or on any restricted parties lists. You also agree not to use the Software for any prohibited purposes under United States law, including the development of weapons.
2.4 Ownership: Pioneer and its Licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Software and Documentation for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, including all intellectual property rights. This License does not grant you any ownership of the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, only the limited right to use it as described.
2.5 Restricted Rights Legend: For U.S. government end users, the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT is considered “commercial computer software” and is licensed with restricted rights as defined in applicable regulations. The U.S. Government’s rights are limited to those granted to the public under this License.
2.6 Corrections; No Support: While Pioneer may provide corrections to the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, it is not obligated to provide any support, maintenance, or updates for the Software or Documentation. This free license is provided as-is for your Pioneer DMH-130BT.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties for Pioneer DMH-130BT Software

- The Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT will meet your requirements.
- The Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT will operate with your chosen hardware or software configuration.
No statements by Pioneer Group or others constitute warranties from Pioneer regarding the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT. “Pioneer Group” includes Pioneer, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their representatives.
4. License Breach
You acknowledge that any breach of this License concerning the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT would cause irreparable harm to Pioneer. Pioneer may seek injunctive relief to prevent any actual, threatened, or continued breach of these License terms, in addition to other remedies.
5. Changes to This License
Pioneer reserves the right to modify this License at any time. Notice of changes and the effective date will be provided on Pioneer’s website or through other means. Your continued use of your Pioneer DMH-130BT Product after such notice constitutes your agreement to the revised License.
6. Termination
This License is effective until terminated. You may terminate it by destroying the Software and Documentation for your Pioneer DMH-130BT. Pioneer may terminate this License if you breach any provision. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and Documentation for your Pioneer DMH-130BT and destroy all copies. Sections 2.2, 2.3, 3, 4, and 7 will remain in effect after termination.
7. General Terms
7.1 Governing Law: This License is governed by specific laws depending on your residency. If you reside in the EEA, Belgian law applies. If in the USA, California law applies. If in Canada, Ontario law and federal laws of Canada apply. For residents outside these regions, Japanese law applies. These laws govern your use of the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT.
7.2 Jurisdiction: Disputes will be resolved through good faith efforts. If amicable settlement fails, arbitration may be used depending on your residency. EEA residents may choose binding arbitration in Brussels. Non-EEA residents will settle claims by binding arbitration. Arbitration rules are under the International Chamber of Commerce. Specific venues are designated for US, Canadian, and other residents. Court jurisdiction is specified for EEA and Canadian residents if arbitration is not pursued or enforceable.
7.3 Exclusion of Remedies: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pioneer Group is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from this License or your use of the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, excluding cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or user death/physical injury due to Pioneer’s acts or omissions.
7.4 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Pioneer Group is limited to US$10.00 or the price paid for your Pioneer DMH-130BT Product, whichever is greater, for any claims related to this License or the Software for your Pioneer DMH-130BT, excluding cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or user death/physical injury due to Pioneer’s acts or omissions.
7.5 Your Specific Rights: Some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. Your legal rights may vary.
7.6 Essential Purpose: Disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations apply even if any remedy fails its essential purpose, unless limited or modified by applicable law.
7.7 Severability and Waiver: If any provision of this License is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the extent possible or removed, without affecting the rest of the License. Waiver of any breach does not waive future breaches.
7.8 No Assignment: You may not transfer this License without Pioneer’s written consent. Pioneer may freely assign this License with notice if it impacts your guarantees.
7.9 Entire Agreement: This License is the complete agreement regarding the Software and Documentation for your Pioneer DMH-130BT. It can only be modified by Pioneer’s written consent. No other customs or practices modify this License. “Including” means “including without limitation.”
