Jelly Bean Fling – Springtime Family Fun
Spring into fun at the Pioneer Museum Dade City’s Jelly Bean Fling on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm. This spectacular Spring Festival is packed with activities for the whole family. Kids will love the pony rides, face painting, children’s games with prizes, and make-and-take arts and crafts.
Enjoy live entertainment, browse unique vendors and food trucks, and witness traditional craft demonstrations, including a blacksmith at work. Model trains will also be on display, adding to the festive atmosphere. Capture precious memories with FREE photos with the Easter Bunny and participate in an exciting Easter Egg Hunt. All museum buildings will be open, inviting you to explore Florida’s history firsthand. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 5. World War II – Living History Field Trip Day
On Friday, April 25, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm, the Pioneer Museum Dade City hosts a special World War II Living History Field Trip Day for students. This educational event is designed for public, private, and homeschool students and offers self-guided tours through living history learning stations. Admission is $8 for students and chaperones, with free parking. A concession stand will be available with food, drinks, snacks, and desserts (cash only). Pre-registration is required for this immersive learning experience.

Members of the Pioneer Museum Dade City are invited to the Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 6 pm in the Main Building at the Pioneer Florida Museum.
Introduction to Weaving Class
Explore the art of weaving with an introductory class at the Pioneer Museum Dade City. This class focuses on multi-harness looms and will teach you to prepare a table loom and weave a sampler. Learn about loom parts, weaving terms, and tools. All materials are provided. Pre-registration is required at least 3 days in advance by contacting Marilynn Ory at (405)-250-5473 (voice or text). Class fees are $25 for the first class and $20 for subsequent classes.
