At Pioneer RV Park in Port Aransas, Texas, we understand that pets are family, and we gladly welcome them to our park! To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests, including those with and without pets, we have established pet policies. We kindly ask all pet owners to adhere to these guidelines, which are designed to maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for everyone.
Certain dog breeds, as defined by the American Kennel Club (AKC), are restricted due to insurance regulations. These breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Dobermans, Rottweilers/Chows, American Bulldogs, and Wolf Hybrids. It is essential to honestly disclose your dog’s breed during the reservation process. Failure to do so may result in denial of park entry upon arrival. Any pet exhibiting aggressive or vicious behavior, or engaging in excessive barking, will unfortunately be asked to leave the park without refund. This policy is in place for the safety and peace of mind of all our guests.
To maintain cleanliness and hygiene for everyone, pets are not permitted in cabins, park buildings, swimming pools, pool areas, the spa, office, or store. These areas are designated pet-free zones to ensure comfort and sanitation for all guests.
For the safety of your pets and others, and as a courtesy to fellow RVers, all pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors within the park. When at your campsite, you may use an appropriately sized dog pen to allow your pet to be off-leash outdoors, provided they are not left unattended. You must be present at your RV or campsite whenever your pet is outside in a pen. For the well-being of your pets, and out of consideration for other guests, no pets are to be left outside unattended overnight. Please be mindful of noise levels; if your dog tends to bark when left alone, please do not leave them unattended in your RV or outside for extended periods.
Responsible pet ownership includes proper waste disposal. If your pet eliminates waste anywhere within Pioneer RV Park, including your campsite, you are required to immediately pick up the droppings, bag them securely, and dispose of them in designated trash receptacles. Please prevent your pet from relieving themselves on shrubs, flowerbeds, neighboring campsites’ landscaping, planted areas near the recreation hall, or the boardwalk.
Pet owners are fully responsible for their pet’s actions and any damages they may cause to Pioneer RV Park property or the property of other guests. Should your pet cause any damage, you will be assessed applicable charges to cover the cost of repairs.
Failure to comply with these pet policies may result in eviction from Pioneer RV Park. To ensure the health and safety of all pets in our park, we require that all pets are up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations and are free of communicable diseases.
