Your Christmas Train experience begins at the Pioneer Tunnel gift shop, where you’ll check in and receive a souvenir ticket, a memento of your magical journey. From there, make your way to the Staudenmeier Train Station, where the Conductor will greet you. Be sure to have your cameras ready as the Grinch himself will be there to welcome you and pose for photos before you board the festively adorned open-car steam train. As you settle in, Christmas music and holiday cheer will surround you, setting the perfect atmosphere for your three-quarters of a mile trip to the Christmas Retreat.

Upon arrival at the Christmas Retreat, you’ll disembark and be welcomed by the warmth of Mr. & Mrs. Claus. This heated haven is the perfect place to meet the iconic Christmas couple. Each child will receive a special free treat, adding an extra sprinkle of holiday magic to their visit. After everyone has had their cherished moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus, it’s time to re-board the train for the return trip to the Pioneer Tunnel gift shop.

Ticket prices are Adults $18.00, Students (8 – 17 yrs.) $9.00, and Children (0 – 7 yrs.) FREE. The Christmas Train will run on select dates: November 29 & 30, December 1, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, & 22, with departures at 5:15, 6:00, 6:45, 7:30, and 8:15 p.m. On certain evenings, enjoy food vendors, along with coffee and hot cocoa available for purchase.
