Simple Steps to Join Jr. Pioneers Hockey
We’ve streamlined the registration process to be as straightforward as possible. Here’s a step-by-step guide to joining the Jr. Pioneers Hockey program:
- Association and Tryout Registration: Begin by registering for the association and tryouts. A deposit payment will be required at this stage.
- Tryout Preparation Skates: Once registered for tryouts, your player gains exclusive access to our specialized on-ice preparation skates. These sessions are designed to help players hone their skills and get ready for tryouts.
- Player Tryouts and Team Placement: Player tryouts are conducted, and team placements are determined following the conclusion of the final tryout session. We strive for fair and accurate assessments to place each player on the most appropriate team.
- Membership Fee Payment: Upon team placement, you will need to pay membership fees. We offer flexible payment options, including a discounted full payment and a monthly payment plan to accommodate different family budgets.
- Tournament Association Fees: Association fees for tournaments are determined based on the specific team placement. Details regarding these fees will be communicated post-team placement.
- Practice and League Play Commences: Get ready for the season! Practice schedules and league play will begin, providing a structured and exciting hockey experience.
- Team Building and More: Beyond the ice, we encourage team building through fundraising events, participation in additional tournaments, and various team bonding activities, fostering a strong sense of community among our players and families.
- Equipment Requirement: For player safety and in line with regulations, full hockey equipment is mandatory for all participants. Importantly, neck guards are now a required part of the standard equipment policy.
