Renter Requirements at Enterprise Pioneer Parkway
To rent a vehicle from Enterprise Pioneer Parkway, certain requirements must be met by all renters and additional drivers. These policies are in place to ensure the safety and security of both our customers and our vehicles.
Age and Driver’s License
The primary renter and any additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for all renters and drivers. Learner’s permits or instructional permits are not accepted for rental purposes. For renters aged 21 to 24, an underage surcharge of $25 per day will apply. Renters in this age group are eligible to rent a variety of vehicle classes, including:
- Economy through Full Size cars
- Cargo Vans and Minivans
- Pickup Trucks
- Compact, Small, and Standard SUVs (seating up to 5 passengers)

Debit Card Policy
Enterprise Pioneer Parkway accepts debit cards for rentals under specific conditions. This offers flexibility in payment options for our valued customers. To use a debit card, please ensure the following criteria are met:
- The name and address on your driver’s license must match your current home address.
- Your address must be within 50 miles of the Enterprise Pioneer Parkway rental branch, OR your driver’s license must be issued from the same state where our Pioneer Parkway branch is located.
- You must present an original utility bill (e.g., gas, electric, water) that is not past due and does not have a disconnect notice. Additionally, you’ll need to provide one of the following original documents dated within the last 30 days:
- Cellular phone bill
- Paycheck or paystub
- Original declaration page from a current auto insurance policy.
- All documents must clearly display your current home address.
Active duty military personnel are exempt from the address requirements mentioned above, offering convenience for our service members.
Please note that aside from a spouse or domestic partner, no other additional drivers are permitted when using a debit card for rental payment.
Renters using debit cards can choose from the same vehicle classes as mentioned for the 21-24 age group: Economy through Full Size cars, Cargo and Minivans, Pickup Trucks, and Compact, Small and Standard SUVs (seating up to 5 passengers).
When using a debit card for any rental charges, the funds available in your account will be reduced by the corresponding amount. Be aware that renters are responsible for any overdraft fees that may be incurred due to insufficient funds. Insurance Verification for Premium Vehicles
For renters choosing premium or luxury vehicles at Enterprise Pioneer Parkway, insurance verification is required at the time of rental. This applies to the following vehicle classes:
- Full Size Luxury Sedan
- Premium Luxury Sedan
- Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan
- Electric Luxury Sedan
- Premium Luxury SUV
- Extended Luxury SUV
- Electric Luxury SUV
- Limo Van
- Corvette
For these vehicle categories, renters must provide proof of a transferable auto collision, comprehensive, and liability insurance policy.
Forms of Payment Policy at Enterprise Pioneer Parkway
Enterprise Pioneer Parkway offers a variety of convenient payment methods to accommodate your rental needs. We accept the following forms of payment:

- MasterCard®
- American Express®
- Discover Network®
- Debit Cards (subject to the conditions outlined above)
The estimated total for your rental, as shown on the Review & Reserve screen or in your email confirmation, will be charged to your chosen form of payment. If any modifications are made to your reservation, the estimated total may change, and the updated amount will be charged to the same payment method.
Upon rental pickup at Enterprise Pioneer Parkway, you will be required to sign a rental contract. This contract includes a Rental Agreement Summary and detailed Additional Terms and Conditions governing your rental.
Deposit Amount
To cover potential additional charges incurred during your rental period, Enterprise Pioneer Parkway requires a deposit at the time of rental. The standard deposit amount is $300. However, a deposit of $850 is required for the following vehicle classes:
- Performance Sport
- Full Size Luxury SUV
- Electric Luxury SUV
- Full Size Elite Electric Sedan
- Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan
- Full Size Luxury Sedan
- Premium Luxury Sedan
- Electric Luxury Sedan
- Premium Luxury SUV
- Extended Luxury SUV
- Limo Van

The deposit must be made using one of the accepted payment methods listed above. Please note that the deposit amount will be held and will not be available for your use during the rental period. The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition and all rental terms are met.
If any additional charges are incurred during your rental, these amounts may be deducted from your deposit. If not deducted from the deposit, these charges will be applied to the form of payment provided at the time of rental, unless you provide an alternative accepted payment method.
When using a debit card for the deposit or any other rental charges, the funds will be immediately held from your account. Renters are responsible for any overdraft fees resulting from debit card transactions.
Money orders and prepaid cards are not accepted for payment at the start of the rental, including for the deposit. However, these payment forms can be used to settle any outstanding balance at the end of your rental upon vehicle return. Cash payments are not accepted at Enterprise Pioneer Parkway.
In addition to the payment methods listed, credit cards saved in your Enterprise profile or loyalty account (such as Emerald Club or E Club) can be used for all rental charges.
All charges will be processed as an authorization hold and subsequently charged to your credit or debit card, or directly charged to your debit card.
