The Pioneer Activity Center, located at 134 Williams Fieldhouse on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus, serves as the central athletic and recreational facility. The multi-purpose activity center is a significant highlight, featuring a 6-lane, 200-meter running track and adaptable courts for various sports including basketball, volleyball, and tennis, all on synthetic surfaces. For racquetball enthusiasts, there are 3 dedicated courts. In addition to these, the facility offers 3 wood basketball courts primarily intended for informal recreational games.

For those focused on fitness and conditioning, the Pioneer Activity Center provides 2 exercise studios suitable for group classes or individual workouts, along with a dedicated stretching and classroom area. A state-of-the-art Queenax Functional Training system is available for advanced fitness routines. The cardio loft is extensively equipped with 50 pieces of equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair steppers, and rowers, catering to all cardio preferences. The expansive 18,000 square foot strength facility is a major draw, encompassing a functional training zone, selectorized and plate-loaded machine areas, a dumbbell section, and a free weight zone featuring 10 rack stations for power and Olympic lifts, ensuring comprehensive strength training opportunities.
