The holiday season is a time for joy and giving, and Toys for Tots is once again stepping up to ensure that children in the Roseburg, Oregon area experience the magic of Christmas. For families needing a little extra support this year, the annual Toys for Tots toy distribution event will be held in December 2023, providing free toys to children ages 0-17. Here’s everything you need to know to participate and make sure your child receives a gift this Christmas.
This year’s toy distribution will take place at Hucrest Elementary School, located at 1810 NE Kline St, Roseburg, OR 97471. Mark your calendars for December 2023 and prepare to bring the necessary documentation to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The organizers are committed to making this toy giveaway fair, fun, and safe for everyone involved.
To manage the anticipated crowd and ensure a fair distribution, a ticket system will be implemented. From 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, attendees can gather in the designated parking lot area. It’s important to arrive within this hour if you wish to be part of the first group. At 9:00 AM, no more individuals will be allowed to join this initial group. Those in the first group will randomly receive a numbered ticket, which determines their place in line. This means if you arrive just before 9:00 AM and receive ticket number 1, you will be first to receive toys. Conversely, arriving earlier at 8:01 AM and getting ticket number 100 places you 100th in line.
Anyone arriving after 9:00 AM will be placed in a separate, first-come, first-served line after the initial ticketed group has been served. The toy distribution event will conclude at 1:00 PM, so please plan your arrival accordingly.
