Titan Machinery Inc. has announced a definitive agreement to purchase the Idaho dealership assets of Pioneer Farm Equipment Co., a significant move that will bolster its network of full-service agricultural and construction equipment stores. The acquisition, expected to finalize in February 2023, includes five full-line Case IH agriculture dealerships strategically located in southeastern Idaho. Notably, two of these locations also operate as Case Construction equipment dealerships, further diversifying the portfolio. Pioneer Farm Equipment, a well-established name in the region, generated approximately $60 million in revenue for the full calendar year 2021, highlighting the substantial value this acquisition brings to Titan Machinery.
David Meyer, Titan Machinery’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, conveyed his enthusiasm about the agreement, stating, “We are excited to announce our agreement to purchase Pioneer’s Idaho dealership assets. The Pioneer team has been serving customers in the highly productive Snake River Valley area in southeastern Idaho for over two decades.” He emphasized the strategic fit of this acquisition, noting, “This acquisition represents an ideal opportunity for us to build upon our recent Heartland acquisition, which has an established presence in the region with commercial application equipment customers.” The Snake River Valley’s robust agricultural sector was a key factor in Titan Machinery’s interest. Meyer pointed out, “Further, this growing region was of particular interest to us given it supports large industry volumes and has similar crops and machine specifications to other markets served by Titan Machinery.”
