Dust off your cowboy boots and hats for the highly anticipated Cracker Cowboy Dinner! This fundraising event promises an unforgettable evening under the stars, filled with authentic Florida charm. Enjoy a delicious grilled steak or chicken dinner while being entertained by JT Curtis and the Florida Scoundrels Band, who will bring the sounds of Florida’s heritage to life. Dance the night away, participate in the charity auction, and savor signature cocktails in a festive atmosphere.

Spring into Fun at the Jelly Bean Fling

Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10 am – 4 pm

Welcome the spring season with joy at the annual Jelly Bean Fling! This spectacular Spring Festival at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village is bursting with family-friendly activities. Children will be delighted with pony rides, face painting, engaging games with prizes, and creative arts and crafts workshops. Enjoy live entertainment, browse unique vendors, and savor delicious treats from food trucks.

Experience traditional craft demonstrations, including blacksmithing, and marvel at model train displays. Don’t miss the chance for adorable photo opportunities and FREE photos with the Easter Bunny! And of course, the highlight for the little ones is the Easter Egg Hunt. All museum buildings will be open, inviting you to explore Florida’s history in an immersive setting.

Admission: $10 adults, $5 students, under 5 free. Tickets available at the gate only. Parking is free.

World War II – Living History Field Trip Day

Friday, April 25, 2025, 9 am – 1 pm

Specifically designed for students, the World War II Living History Field Trip Day offers an educational journey back in time. Students from public, private, and homeschool settings can embark on self-guided tours, engaging with a series of living history learning stations. This interactive experience brings history textbooks to life, making learning both memorable and impactful.

Admission: $8 per student and chaperone. Parking is free. Concession stand will be open (cash only).

World War II Field Trip Day Registration

Members are invited to attend the Annual Membership Meeting held in the Main Building at the Pioneer Florida Museum. This is an opportunity to learn about the museum’s progress, future plans, and contribute to its ongoing success.

Get Creative with Introduction to Weaving Classes

Ongoing Classes – Pre-registration Required

Unleash your inner artist and learn the timeless craft of weaving! This introductory class focuses on multi-harness looms, guiding you through preparing a table loom and creating your own sampler. You’ll learn about loom parts, weaving terminology, and tools. Various loom types will also be discussed. All materials are provided for the introductory class.

Class Fees: $25 for the first class, $20 for subsequent classes.
