Check-In and Check-Out Procedures
Our standard check-in time is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is promptly at 11:00 AM. We understand that travel plans can be unpredictable, and we strive to accommodate our guests’ needs. If you anticipate arriving earlier or later than our standard check-in time, please inform us when making your reservation by providing your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). While we will do our best to personalize your check-in experience based on your ETA, early check-in is not guaranteed.
For late check-out requests, please contact our front desk. Late check-out is subject to availability and dependent on our occupancy levels. Please note that additional charges may apply for late check-outs that are approved.
Cancellation Policy Details
To avoid cancellation charges, we require notification at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If a confirmed reservation is not cancelled within this 14-day window, the traveler will be held responsible for the full cost of the stay. In the event of a late cancellation, you will be charged for the entire reservation. However, if we are able to re-rent your room to another guest, a refund may be issued.
Deposit and Reservation Guarantee
All reservations at Pioneer Motel Palmer Ak must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card, including the expiration date. Reservations made without a valid credit card are subject to cancellation. Please be aware that Pioneer Motel will not hold any reservation without a valid credit card to secure it.
As part of our reservation process, we pre-authorize the full amount of your stay on the morning of your arrival. This pre-authorization is placed on the credit card provided to guarantee your reservation. If the credit card provided for guarantee does not accept the pre-authorization, the reservation will be held until 5:00 PM local time on the arrival date. If the pre-authorization issue is not resolved by 5:00 PM, the reservation will be cancelled.
Smoke-Free Environment
Pioneer Motel is proud to be a 100% non-smoking facility. This policy applies to all areas of the motel, including guest rooms, sidewalks, and common areas. The non-smoking policy extends to vape pens and electronic cigarettes as well. For guests who wish to smoke, a designated smoking area is available.
Please be aware that if evidence of smoking is detected in a guest room, a significant cleaning fee of $400.00 will be charged. This fee will be applied to the guest folio, either before or after check-out. Furthermore, please note that marijuana is strictly prohibited on the entire Pioneer Motel property.
Pet Policy for Dog Owners
We understand that many guests travel with their furry companions. Pioneer Motel offers designated pet-friendly rooms that are exclusively for dogs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate cats at this time. A pet fee of $50 per visit applies, regardless of the length of your stay. In addition, a $200 security deposit may be required.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, certain dog breeds are restricted. All dogs staying with us must have current vaccinations and be kept on a leash at all times while on motel property. For your convenience, we provide complimentary bags for pet waste clean-up. Bringing a pet into a non-pet-friendly room will result in a $300.00 cleaning fee, and you will be asked to vacate the room immediately.
Extra Person Occupancy Fees
Our room rates are based on the room type and designated occupancy. For Queen and King rooms, the rate covers up to 2 guests. For Queen/Queen rooms, the rate covers up to 4 guests. Exceeding these occupancy limits due to fire code regulations will result in an extra person fee of $150 per night, per additional adult. Guests exceeding the maximum occupancy may also be asked to leave the premises immediately.
Taxes and Minimum Age
Please note that a 3% bed tax and a 5% sales tax are applied per night to your room rate. To confirm guestroom accommodations at Pioneer Motel Palmer AK, all guests must be 18 years of age or older. Valid photo identification for age verification is required at the time of check-in.
Payment Information and Accepted Methods
To finalize your accommodations upon arrival at Pioneer Motel, you will need to provide sufficient credit credentials for payment. This is done through the authorization of a debit or credit card. When a debit or credit card is presented for authorization at check-in, please be advised that a credit hold of $200.00 will be applied to your card.
