For the safety and peace of mind of all our guests, and due to insurance restrictions, Pioneer RV Resort Texas, unfortunately, cannot accommodate certain dog breeds that are statistically considered to be higher risk. These breeds, as defined by the American Kennel Club (AKC), include:
- Pit Bulls
- Staffordshire Terriers
- Dobermans
- Rottweilers/Chows
- American Bulldogs
- Wolf Hybrids
When making your reservation at our Pioneer RV resort in Texas, it is essential to honestly disclose your dog’s breed. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry upon arrival. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe environment for everyone. Any pet exhibiting vicious or aggressive behavior, regardless of breed, or engaging in excessive barking will also be subject to eviction from the park without refunds.
Pet-Free Zones for Everyone’s Comfort
To maintain a pleasant experience for all guests, including those with allergies or who prefer pet-free environments, we have designated certain areas within Pioneer RV Resort as pet-free zones. Pets are not permitted in the following locations:
- Cabins
- Buildings (including restrooms and laundry facilities)
- Swimming Pools and Pool Areas
- Spa
- Office
- Store
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping these areas pet-free.
Leash and Supervision Requirements for Responsible Pet Ownership
For the safety of your pet and fellow guests, and to comply with Texas leash laws, all pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your RV or designated pet area at Pioneer RV Resort Texas. Leashes should be of reasonable length and controlled by a responsible person capable of managing the pet.
While we welcome pets, they should not be left unattended outside at your site unless they are securely confined within an appropriate dog pen suitable for their size. Even with a dog pen, you must be present in your RV or on your site to supervise. For the comfort and safety of your pet, and out of consideration for your neighbors, no pet is to be left outside unattended overnight.
We also kindly request that you be mindful of noise levels. If your dog tends to bark when left alone, please do not leave them unattended in your RV or outside for extended periods. Courtesy to your neighbors ensures a relaxing stay for everyone at our Texas RV resort.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Pet Waste Management is Essential
Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is a priority at Pioneer RV Resort Texas. If your pet relieves itself anywhere within the park, including on your site, it is your responsibility to immediately pick up the droppings, bag them securely, and dispose of them properly in designated trash receptacles.
Please be especially considerate and prevent your pet from relieving itself on shrubs, flowerbeds, neighbor’s landscaping, planted areas around the recreation hall, boardwalks, or any other areas that are not designated pet relief areas. Your diligence in pet waste management contributes significantly to the overall cleanliness and enjoyment of our resort for all guests.
Owner Responsibility and Liability for Your Pet
As a pet owner, you are fully responsible for the actions of your pet and any damages they may cause to Pioneer RV Resort Texas property or the property of other guests. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to landscaping, structures, or personal belongings.
In the event that your pet causes damage, applicable charges will be assessed to cover the expense of repair or replacement. We appreciate your responsible pet ownership and understanding that you are financially liable for any damages caused by your pet.
Furthermore, to ensure the health and safety of all pets within our community, we require that all pets staying at Pioneer RV Resort Texas be up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations and be free of communicable diseases. Proof of vaccination may be requested.
Policy Violations and Ensuring a Harmonious Community
We strive to create a welcoming and harmonious community at Pioneer RV Resort Texas for all our guests. Continued violations of these pet policies may unfortunately result in immediate eviction from the park without refund.
