  • 1/2 medium-sized yellow onion, peeled & diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • One 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced yellow onions, cook until the beef is almost completely browned and the onions have softened, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
