The Pioneer Woman Paige Is Home: Ree Drummond’s Daughter Joins Ranch Full-Time

Ree Drummond, famously known as The Pioneer Woman, has some exciting family news to share from the Drummond Ranch. Her daughter, Paige Drummond, has officially returned home and joined the family ranch as a full-time employee. This news has been met with joy, especially from her husband, Ladd Drummond, who Ree playfully mentions has already declared Paige his “favorite cowboy.”

Paige’s homecoming marks a new chapter for the Drummond family and the ranch. Ree Drummond announced Paige’s return on her website, expressing her delight with the heartwarming statement, “Ladd has a favorite cowboy…and her name is Paige.” While Paige grew up immersed in the ranching lifestyle, her new role is about diving deep into the daily operations and responsibilities of the Drummond Ranch.

According to Ree’s post, Paige’s responsibilities are diverse and hands-on. She is involved in various crucial aspects of ranch work, from managing cattle, including sorting and weaning calves, to the essential maintenance tasks of fixing fences and water gaps. Her duties also extend to building salt boxes and tackling a long list of other necessary chores that keep a ranch running smoothly. Ree acknowledges the demanding nature of ranch work, noting, “She’s getting banged up, scratched, bruised, and clobbered… and time will tell if she’s in this for the long haul!” Despite the challenges, Paige’s dedication is evident, and her family is thrilled to have her back.

Ree warmly shared the family’s sentiment, adding, “Ladd is loving having her home. (Psst. I am, too!)” Her words clearly convey the happiness of having Paige back at the ranch and the joy of a formerly empty nest feeling a little fuller again.

This exciting development was hinted at earlier by Ree on her Instagram, with a clip from her popular Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman. The video snippet featured Paige starting her day early, heading out to work on the ranch before sunrise. In the clip, Ree explains Paige’s morning routine: “Paige starts pretty early around daylight. She arrives at the ranch from town, fills up her feeder, and then heads out into the pasture to feed the cattle.”

Paige herself expresses genuine enjoyment in her ranch duties, particularly the peaceful aspect of early morning work. “Feeding is one of my favorite things to do because you’re really just getting up and getting in your truck and driving around and the sunrises are really pretty… It’s just fun, and it’s honestly kind of peaceful,” Paige shared in the clip. Her words reflect a deep appreciation for the ranching lifestyle and the beauty of her surroundings.

Adding to the family affair at Drummond Ranch, Ree also mentioned that their son Todd has returned for the summer and is actively involved in ranch work alongside Ladd. “Todd was the first of the kids to come home for the summer,” Ree wrote, “and he immediately dug out his jeans and boots and started helping Ladd on the ranch.” With both Paige and Todd back to lend a hand, it’s truly a family effort at the Drummond Ranch, and The Pioneer Woman family seems happier than ever with Paige home.
