Pioneer Cabinetry: Crafting Quality and Community in Hartland, Michigan

For Larry Fox, the Platinum Sponsor of Winterfest and owner of Pioneer Cabinetry, business is deeply rooted in family and community. This ethos is evident not only in his semi-custom, built-to-order cabinetry company, where his son Brendan works, but also in the strong sense of community he cultivates both within and beyond his business. Established over 35 years ago, Pioneer Cabinetry has consistently prioritized exceptional quality in its cabinetry while fostering a family-like environment for its employees.

“All 90 of our employees feel like family,” Larry Fox, President of Pioneer Cabinetry in Davison, proudly states. This commitment to his team is reflected in long tenures, with recent company anniversary celebrations honoring employees with 20 and 25 years of service. This dedication translates directly into the quality and care that Pioneer Cabinetry brings to every project.

Larry and his wife Kelly are deeply involved in the Hartland community, where both of their children attended Hartland High School. Beyond supporting vital community events like Winterfest and providing jobs for dozens of local residents, Larry also contributes as chair of the Township’s Planning Commission. “I’m a strong believer in building the community and shaping its identity to attract people to our township,” Larry explains. He sees Winterfest as a key event that strengthens community bonds, adding, “I want Hartland to be a great place, and these types of community festivals support that mission.”

Thanks to the generous support of businesses like Pioneer Cabinetry, alongside Preiss Companies, Hartland Insurance Agency Inc, Floodgate Church, and Horizon Landscape, Winterfest remains a FREE event for the community. Let’s show our appreciation by supporting these businesses that are dedicated to strengthening our community.

Winterfest 2023 is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 1 PM until dusk at Hartland’s Heritage Park, located at 12439 Highland Road. It promises to be a fantastic, free family festival thanks to the commitment of community-focused businesses like Pioneer Cabinetry.
