To ensure everyone enjoys their time at Pioneer Park, especially during Pioneer Days Zolfo Springs 2024, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the park rules. Pioneer Park is a County Government-operated facility, and we aim to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors. For those camping, please ensure your current tag is clearly displayed for park management to see.
These rules are designed to make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible during events like Pioneer Days.
Camping and Site Regulations
- First Come, First Served: Please note that reservations are not accepted at Pioneer Park. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Designated Camping Areas: Camping is permitted only within designated campsites to preserve the park’s natural beauty and organization.
- Site Occupancy: Each campsite is limited to one camping unit and one vehicle. This helps us manage space effectively and ensure enough room for all guests.
- Respect Park Property: To protect our trees and buildings, please refrain from attaching ropes or wires to them.
- Doormat Size: To keep walkways clear and tidy, doormats should be no larger than 3’x 4’.
Maintaining Park Cleanliness
- Proper Waste Disposal: Help us keep Pioneer Park clean by disposing of all trash in the provided garbage cans or dumpsters.
- Dump Station Availability: A dump station is conveniently located at the west end of the park for your waste disposal needs.
- Water Usage and Waste: Dumping water on the ground is not permitted. Specifically, washing vehicles, trailers, or motor homes within the park is prohibited to conserve water and protect the environment.
- Ground Coverings: To protect the grass and maintain the park’s aesthetics, please avoid placing boards, pallets, blocks, or similar items on the grass.
- Site Orderliness: We encourage all visitors to arrange items outside their campsite in a neat and orderly fashion, contributing to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the park.
- Campfires with Caution: Campfires are allowed, offering a classic outdoor experience. However, we urge everyone to exercise extreme caution and ensure fires are managed safely.
- Departure Cleanliness: Before leaving, please ensure your campsite is left clean and neat for the next visitors to enjoy. This simple act of courtesy enhances everyone’s park experience.
