Cracker Cowboy Dinner – March 8, 2025

Jelly Bean Fling Spring Festival – April 5, 2025

Spring into fun at the Pioneer Florida Museum’s Jelly Bean Fling! On Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm, this spectacular Spring Festival offers a day packed with activities for children and families.

The Jelly Bean Fling, a vibrant Spring Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum, offers fun for the whole family.

Enjoy pony rides, face painting, children’s games with prizes, and hands-on arts and crafts. Live entertainment and unique vendors will add to the festive atmosphere, alongside delicious food trucks and traditional craft demonstrations, including a blacksmith and model trains.

Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy free photos at the Jelly Bean Fling at Pioneer Florida Museum.

Capture precious memories with FREE photos with the Easter Bunny and participate in an exciting Easter Egg Hunt for children. All museum buildings will be open, inviting you to step back in time and experience history firsthand.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 5. Tickets are available at the gate only, and parking is free. Vendor registration is open for those interested in participating in this popular event at the Pioneer Florida Museum.

World War II Living History Events – April 2025

The Pioneer Florida Museum will host two special World War II Living History events in April 2025, offering immersive experiences for students and the public alike.

World War II – Living History Field Trip Day – April 25, 2025

On Friday, April 25, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm, the museum will host a World War II Living History Field Trip Day designed for public, private, and homeschool students.

Students will embark on self-guided tours, exploring a series of living history learning stations that bring this pivotal period to life. Admission is $8 for students and chaperones, with free parking. The concession stand will be open (cash only) for food, drinks, snacks, and desserts.

World War II – Living History Event – April 26, 2025

Experience history come alive at the WWII Living History Event at the Pioneer Florida Museum.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm, the Pioneer Florida Museum invites the public to step back in time at the World War II Living History Event. Immerse yourself in a WWII Homefront experience and learn about life during this transformative era. More details about this event will be released closer to the date.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors or veterans, $6 for students, and free for children under 5. Tickets are available at the gate only, with free parking.

Annual Membership Meeting – September 16, 2024

Pioneer Florida Museum members are invited to attend the Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 6 pm. The meeting will be held in the Main Building at the Pioneer Florida Museum.

Introduction to Weaving Class

Learn a new skill at the Pioneer Florida Museum! An Introduction to Weaving class is available for those interested in fiber arts. This class focuses on multi-harness looms, teaching you to prepare a table loom and weave a sampler. You’ll learn about loom parts, weaving terms, and tools. Various types of looms will also be introduced. All materials are provided for this introductory class.

Pre-registration is required at least 3 days in advance. Please contact Marilynn Ory at (405)-250-5473 (voice or text) to register. Class fees are $25 for the first class and $20 for subsequent classes.
