Get your young slugger ready for some baseball fun! Join our exciting eight-week Co-ed Coach Pitch league designed for children aged 7-9 years old. Located at the beautiful Telephone Pioneer Park, this program is the perfect introduction to baseball, focusing on building fundamental skills, fostering team spirit, and ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all participants.
Each team will play one game every Saturday, with game times scheduled at either 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM. Games are one hour long, providing just the right amount of action for young players. The league runs for eight weeks, starting February 1st and continuing until March 8th. Mark your calendars for the final Saturday, which will be a special day featuring awards, a banquet, and refreshments to celebrate the season’s achievements.
All games and practices will be conveniently held at Telephone Pioneer Park, specifically at 1946 W Morningside Dr. We utilize the TPP Ball Field 60′ Youth Only within the park, creating a safe and age-appropriate environment for our young athletes. In addition to Saturday games, each team will have one practice session per week, lasting one hour. Practices will be scheduled between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with specific times determined by our volunteer coaches. Practices are set to commence the week of January 20th, 2025, giving teams two weeks to prepare before the first game.
We provide all the necessary equipment for the season, including bats, gloves, and helmets, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing gear. Regarding weather, we prioritize player safety. If there is standing water on the field, games will be canceled for the day. We will make any weather-related announcements via email by 7:00 AM on game days to keep everyone informed.
